Thirteen-year-old Thomas spent every Saturday at a café with friends, a cherished weekly ritual. His mother, Gloria, feeling increasingly distant from her once-inseparable son, hoped to reconnect by inviting him to a superhero movie he’d mentioned wanting to see.
