June Lockhart, best known as Ruth Martin on Lassie (1958–1964), is now 98 and still radiating charm.
She also starred as Dr. Maureen Robinson in Lost in Space and made appearances in shows like Bewitched, Magnum, P.I., and General Hospital. In 1948, she won a Tony Award for For Love or Money.
Beyond acting, Lockhart has been a passionate supporter of NASA, receiving the Exceptional Public Achievement Medal in 2013. She was married to John F. Maloney and has two daughters, including actress Anne Lockhart.
Still vibrant, Lockhart once said, “I feel like I’m 55.” Her long, trailblazing career and enduring energy continue to inspire fans across generations.
