Not long after being married to Lady Gabriella, Thomas Kingston passed away at the age of forty-five.
Thomas Kingston, the spouse of Lady Gabriella, passed away unexpectedly, leaving King Charles and Queen Camilla in need.
Kingston was a 45-year-old British businessman who passed away on Sunday. Tuesday was the announcement day. There are no additional persons or questionable circumstances surrounding the death, however the cause of death is still unknown.
Thomas’s death has been reported to the King and Queen, a palace official said on Tuesday. They share the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s sorrow at the loss of a dear family member. Their Majesties offer Gabriella and the Kingston family their sincere sympathies and prayers.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son, and brother,” stated a statement released by Emma Murray, Joanna Connolly, Lady Gabriella, Martin and Jill Kingston, and Martin. Everyone who was acquainted with Tom felt incredibly fortunate to have known him. His passing has left the entire family devastated, and we kindly ask that you give us some time to mourn.
She is 42 years old and the sole child of Prince Michael of Kent, the first cousin of Queen Elizabeth.
The 76-year-old King Charles and the 75-year-old Queen Camilla frequently displayed their closeness to Lady Gabriella and Kingston in public. From the Royal Box, the four of them supported the horse of the King and Queen in June 2023 at Royal Ascot.
Less than two weeks ago, on February 14, Lady Gabriella, Kingston, and Queen Camilla attended a Celebration of Shakespeare event.
Lady Gabriella and Kingston have been to several royal family functions in recent years. For instance, they attended the memorial ceremony for Prince Philip in March 2022, the jubilee festivities for Queen Elizabeth in June 2022, and the burial for Queen Elizabeth in September 2022.
Many members of the royal family were present for Lady Gabriella and Kingston’s May 2019 wedding at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry, who unexpectedly turned up a few weeks after the birth of his baby.
The Greek King Constantine, who passed away the previous year, was honored with a Thanksgiving ceremony in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. A few hours before word of Kingston’s passing circulated, Queen Camilla, Lady Gabriella’s parents, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and other members of the royal family were present.
The late Greek King was acquainted with Lady Gabriella. As one of Constantine’s godchildren, Prince William, asked her to attend his burial last year. Due to personal reasons, Prince William was unable to attend the Tuesday service; however, it is not believed that his absence was related to Kingston’s passing.
Since King Charles was still mostly concealed from the public while undergoing cancer treatment, he was unable to attend the service held in King Constantine’s honor. Earlier this month, the king revealed to the world that he has cancer.
